PRIVACY POLICY

 

Milkwood Creative is run by Helen Howells as a sole trader.  I value my privacy and appreciate that you do to.  As such, in this statement I would like to break down for you what information I collect and how I will use it.  Please feel free to read through this (in fact, I actively encourage it and if you have any questions please do get in touch)

 

This privacy statement is valid as from 18/03/2019 from time to time and as my services evolve I shall be updating it.

 

General Information For Clients and Customers

 

I always aim to keep things simple.  If you are a client of mine I will collect and store the necessary information in order to complete the work you require of me. 

 

I will primarily collect your name, email address, Skype contact details, business name, website details and social information. This data is held within Microsoft Outlook, the passwords for which are updated regularly. 

 

Why Do I Collect This Data From You

 

I need this information to be able to perform the duties you have asked me to carry out and also to be able to contact you.

 

Once You Have My Data What Do You Intend On Doing With It

 

Primarily I will be using it to contact you to discuss the services you have appointed me for. 

 

Under no circumstances will your data ever be sold or rented to a third party.

 

I may share your data in the following circumstances:

 

·       to service providers and affiliates (e.g postal services, IT service administrators) who assist in the delivery of my products and services

·       to third parties if I believe that disclosure is advisable or necessary to comply with the law, to enforce or apply my terms and conditions, or to protect the rights, property or safety of myself and others. 

 

How Long Will You Store My Data For 

 

I am required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name and contact details) for a minimum of 6 years. After this point your data will be kept until you notify me otherwise.  Remember that you do have the right to be forgotten, so please contact me if you would like your data to be destroyed.

Sure thing, you have the right to request a copy of the information I hold about you. If you would like a copy of the personal information I hold, please contact me. You have the right to be forgotten so also please contact me if you wish this data to be destroyed.
